Beano has mannitol in it and I wanted to use it when I ate chickpeas or kidney beans. Have you ever read where mannitol is similar to sorbitol or fuctose. I know I have been reading that sorbitol is harmful to some people who have fructose intolerance just like fructose. Anyway, just wondered if you have encountered BEano and mannitol and what the findings are? Thank again for help. Debbie IBS
