Any kind of respiratory/sinus *anything* screws with my guts... all the extra mucous in the system, I'm guessing.

On the other hand, I'm not sure where you are on the diet, but you should be adding more foods (protein, insolubles) after a couple days of the all-soluble diet. So if you're still eating nothing but solubles, you might want to try giving your body something a little more substantial to work with. Lean protein is an easy one, but go slowly with any insolubles.
