I've been through 3 medium and 3 minor surgeries. I'll keep you in my thoughts. I find afterwards toast, tea, canned peaches (wierd, I know) and chicken soup (Lipton's) are my best friends. Like HanSolo said, listen to your body. I find the pain meds made me C, so yes, some brown rice etc is good to keep on hand.
