A lot of women notice their IBS symptoms fluctuate with their cycle. It's mostly due to hormones changing. It's important to eat safely during the time of your cycle you notice the most problems.

As for Acacia and candida, I'm not too sure. It is sometimes recommended to take a prebiotic to help the good bacteria, which can 'crowd out' the bad bacteria. FOS is thought to help the bad bacteria so that's a no. But inulin is thought to help the good bacteria. I'm really not sure if it's best to avoid them or take one. Acacia is not inulin or FOS and I'm not sure how it would affect it.

Are you taking a probiotic to help get more good bacteria?
