I don't eat veggie burgers because they so often have cheese in them. I eat GardenBurger Flame Grilled soy burgers, and they are safe and delicious. As for drinks, I just stick to water. If you like hot tea, there are some safe herbal teas you may be able to drink (peppermint, fennel, etc). I would stay away from coffee (even decaf), sodas, juices, and anything with artificial sweetener.
While you're learning what is safe and what isn't, try eating plain white rice, plain no-egg pasta, fresh French bread (no egg or dairy), or plain baked potato with plain chicken (white meat only) or maybe fish (try tilapia cooked in a non-stick skillet with some Old Bay seasoning and a little cumin). For veggies, go with some from the Soluble Fiber list below (cook with no fat, MSG, or hot spices) and cook them until very tender for easiest digestion. You don't have to eat things completely plain like this to be IBS-safe, but it will give you something safe to eat while you're learning the diet.
