Try mixing some protein powder with your oatmeal (might make it more tasty too), more protein will help you be less hungry. Nuts are a good option too.
I usually eat oatmeal for breakfast, and within an hour I eat a snack simply because the oatmeal really isn't that filling. It does wonders to settle the stomach in the morning, and is nutritious so it's worth it. For a snack I'll have a banana, or applesauce (flavored ones by Motts), hard boiled egg whites, home made muffins, pita bread & soy cream cheese (light peanut butter is also good, or hummus), carrots, etc.
Good thing about oatmeal if you get tired of the taste, just switch to another flavour. There's lots more choice.
