- For women, a gynecological exam including CA-125 blood test for ovarian cancer
I need to have all of these tests done?? Neither doctor even came close to suggesting all these tests. The first doctor didn't want to do any, just told me to take fiber (which totally backfired bc I had no idea how to take it). My current GI doc did mention some of the above but ruled out most with listening to me. She did say that if it isn't being managed after a while, it'd be time to check for cancers, etc. I'm also getting allergy tests done soon.
Btw, she didn't mention anything about diet for IBS management. Just gave me medications to try.
