I'm pretty sure that cereal will have Amaranth as soluble fiber. Amaranth is a seed, so the outer coating is insoluble, but the inside is actually soluble. If cooked, ground or used as a flour it is more easily digestible, and really nutritious. I would give it another shot. That cereal (I looked up the ingredients) seems to have a good balance of SF/IF and for a C'er that should be a good way to get both.

As for the french onion soup, yeah it probably gave you your attack all on its own, especially if you had it on an empty stomach.

Have you tried the amaranth flakes since posting?
