Re: Antspasmodics       10/16/06 11:34 AM Edit Reply Quote cejay Reged: 08/27/06 Posts: 84 Hey Kimba, I take antispasmodics when needed ( note they calmed my tummy down but did not totally alleviate the pain). When I was first diagnosed I took them every day for about three weeks and tried the diet. Then after I started to notice that my stomach was not hurting as much so I cut back on the meds since I did not like the side effects, dry mouth, they gave me. I still have my prescription and when I have a bad flare up I will take the meds. I just felt that I was on a lot of pills and I was having to choose. I have severe allergies and could not take my allergy pills when taking the antispasmodics. My doctor has also put me on 10mg of Lexapro to help with the stress and anxiety this stuf give me.
