Thanks so much for your reply, Please keep me filled in on what you find out. I am thinking that I must have IBS-A and MC if that is possible. The symptoms for MC say watery D and yes I have that but I also get very C. The reason for my colonscopy and endoscopy was that I had never had either done!!!! I have gone through the health system for 10+ years with these problems and finally someone decided they better do more than just "take a peek in there" and see what was going on. My endoscopy showed severe inflammation and bleeding in my esophagus. The colonoscopy didn't show much until the specialist looked at the biopsies he took from different areas. Right now I am on Pariet to get my reflux/ GERD/ acid under control. The specialist thinks that after 6 months of treating acid I should see a dramatic increase in my symptoms overall. Right now it is rough because taking away all the acid that has been in my stomach and breaking down my food, makes digestion a little harder. His main recommendation for treatment was Pepto Bismol like you said as well and I have read on various MC sites. If I am still having problems after a few months I am to go back to my doctor or call the specialist. I also take an antispasmodic called Buscopan. It definitely is a relief, although I am sorry you suffer as well, to hear that someone else here has MC. Please take care and keep in touch Bethany
