I don't find they helped at all on their own. I would start Heather's diet first and if you are doing well with that, then stick with it. If you still have problems, then would be a better time to try anti-spasmodics, while still following the diet properly. It definetly helps to find a balance of SF and IF, especially for someone who gets C.
