hello! i'm new and have been diagnosed with both irritable bowel syndrome and anorexia (been anorexic/purging anorexic for most of my 35 years) among other things. those would be ulcers, severe anxiety, depression, hypothryroidism and a pituitary tumor(just diagnosed with the last two about a month ago). well, i stopped purging 113 days ago (not bulimic, just threw up anything i ate), and my pain is severe. i know my eating habits are to blame, but i just don't know where to start. i only eat once a day, and that's when my hubby and son eat dinner, around 7 o'clock, and i will only eat veggies. please someone help me, what else can i eat that might be 'safe' for me. i don't want to gain any weight right now, but i can't live in pain any more! i can't even leave my house and going to the bathroom is excruciatingly painful. it's affecting every aspect of my life. i am on a list of meds, don't know if they affect anything....klonopin, bentyl, dostinex, synthroid, and effexor xr. i also find myself taking anti gas pills and stool softeners trying to get some relief. am i just making it worse????? i can not even stand up straight right now, and the bentyl seems to cause more pain sometimes. please help!
