I don't peel anything before putting it in the blender. That way I get all the benefits of the IF without the discomfort later! I use strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries, though not all at the same time!! I base my smoothie on a banana, and typically only add one or two other fruits (perhaps a peach and 2-3 strawberries). If bananas bother you, you could try mangoes. I think those are about the two safest fruits.
Make your smoothie in the morning, but put it in a travel mug and take it with you!
Sometimes this is all the fruit I'll eat during the day; sometimes I'll have an apple in the afternoon. But the smoothie alone is 2-3 servings of fruit, which is pretty good (I think).
