How do we continue to seek answers while still functioning and not allowing IBS to be the total focus of our existence? But then again, when you're hurting, it sort of already is. But dwelling on it keeps us focused on every twinge and cramp and BM! Remember when we never even gave a thought to our bowel habits??? Like most "normal" folks! Plus, I'm losing friends, family, are not happy with this way of dealing with it either. It's been quite expensive.
