But Jordy, there *are* lots of things that can "help," even though IBS can't be "fixed" or "cured" at this time. I try to think of IBS as being similar to arthritis, in that while there's no cure, it can be controlled by making diet and lifestyle changes and using both allopathic and holistic medicines as merited for additional support.
If I hadn't found (what I believe is) good information about IBS on the web, it would have been a lot more disheartening for me to have the tests keep coming back negative.
It's pretty good for me to know that while dealing with IBS can be difficult at times, it sure won't kill me. And whatever doesn't kill you can make you stronger, if you let it.
