I just wanted to share something that has seemed to work for me - I have suffered from IBS for just about 30 years (I'm 44), I have tried pretty well everything, proper diet, exercising, eating in moderation, etc, etc…nothing worked. It ruined my life for so long. I don't usually like to put drugs into my system, even though I was taking Imodium like candy (up to 10/day) - but enough was enough...I had taken Librax in my mid twenties and that seemed to help a bit, so I went back to the Doctor and asked if I could get back onto to it again - He also suggested I try this other drug called Dicetel (specifically for IBS) so - I'm currently on Librax(2.5mg 3 times daily and Dicetel(100mg 3 times daily)...It has been just over 3 1/2 weeks now without any attacks - which is very uncommon because I usually have attacks about every 2 days. I also do not take any Imodium anymore. I'm eating things that I have not eaten in a long time - I'm still very careful but I'm testing myself all the time. I'm from Canada and I'm not sure if Dicetel is available in the States...But the 2 drugs seem to be working together perfectly. The only side effects are the occasional dry mouth and my stools are on the loose side...which both I can live with. I hope this information helps.
Take care...
