High or Low IF???       06/15/06 05:43 PM Edit Reply Quote Life.Is.Random Reged: 03/06/06 Posts: 310 Loc: NJ I have gastroparesis, which is the delayed emptying of the stomach, and my doctor wants me to try this diet that seems very low in IF foods (like whole grains and such), but I don't want my C to come back either. I tried the diet once, but it really blocked me up, which actually made me feel worse! The high IF content in my diet now makes it move in my intestines, but slows down my stomach, but a diet low in IF speeds my stomach up, but slows my intestines down. Uggg!
