Six years or more and counting - I haven't had a week go by without an IBS episode. Maybe one day out of each week I will feel 'ok'. IBS affects every part of my life - leisure and work and everything in between. IBS is one of the reasons I can't work anymore. It's very depressing, knowing that I can do something about this and not being able to. I am always suffering from one or more symptoms at any given time, but I must say, it sure is satisfying to be able to have a BM w/o pain or too much effort, and most importantly on a regular basis.
