Believe it or not ALL 3 of the citrucel powder products have calories in them but the caplets do not

Heather, even the clear gel that you mentioned above has sucrose in it, equaling 37 calories per dose, while the regular citrucel is 60 calories per dose and the sugar-free has 24 calories in it PLUS aspartame. I guess the calories in the sugar free version are coming from the soluble fiber content being counted as a carb or would do you think the maltodextrin or orange flavoring are contributing calories?

SO.......the good news here is that the clear gel is only 13 more cals than the supposedly "sugar-free" version that contains that horrid stuff aspartame. Hope this helps. LL
