The supplements contain nothing but soluble fiber at all. So in terms of volume, one cup of rice would have less soluble fiber than one cup of acacia, because the rice also has starch, proteins, plant cellular compounds other than fibers, etc. The acacia is just pure soluble fiber - all other elements from the original plant source (which is the acacia tree) have been extracted. - Heather -------------------- Heather is the Administrator of the IBS Message Boards.
