Sushi success       04/20/06 02:42 PM Edit Reply Quote franny Reged: 05/16/05 Posts: 508 Loc: N. FL I made sushi today for the first time and it was yummy and easy! A little sticker shock at the price of Nori (4.98)for 5 sheets. I once heard Kat Cora (sp?) say if you don't have a mat for rolling them, use saran wrap, it worked fine. I put Jaz rice & surimi (imitation crab) on one set...rice & avocado with garlic powder on the other. I forgot to buy the wasabi powder so I used the garlic. Both were dipped in soy sauce.
