On a recent trip, I took an unopened package of Acacia, with me in a gallon-size ziploc bag. When I was ready to start using it, I snipped the corner of the package and poured some into a plastic container I brought with me (you could also use another plastic bag). I then closed the original Acacia container with a binder clip, so what was left could travel home still in its original container. Just remember to bring the binder clip - and scissors!

HTH. Enjoy your trip.
