What you want to avoid is "whole wheat flour". Store bought sliced white sandwich bread usually does not have whole wheat in it, but it may have HFCS or dairy so it's probably not a good choice. I've had good luck finding safe French and Italian bread (baguettes, long loaves) and sandwich rolls in the bakery departments of regular grocery stores.
