I haven't had a problem with using the glucose tabs for severe lows, but I am mostly C...I have a friend who recommended carrying around honey sticks in your bag instead. Perhaps these would work for you? You should be able to find them at your local Health Food store. I am very curious to find out what you're eating that is good for both your gut and the diabetes. I eat a lot of fruits and veggies, and some of the less harsh whole grains like quinoa and brown rice...is there anything else you would recommend?
