Hi! I had a pretty bad attack yesterday. When I have an attack, I always try to find out why I did. I came up with a possible explanation yesterday and I would like to know if it makes any sense. The two worst attacks I'va had lately both happened the day after I was either on a boat or on a plane. Since last year, I tend to have motion sickness symptoms when I travel. I feel dizzy and weird but so far, I haven't vomitted. I always feel very scared to be sick. Obviously, that makes me go through a lot of stress. e.g.: I don't wanna be sick, I don't wanna have an attack on the boat/place, I don't wanna have an IBS attack right now, etc...These are the things I say to myself. I think it makes my intestines very stressed and the day after, when it sees that everything's okay, it just lets go and that causes a diarrhea attack.
What do you think? I am taking the plane again on Tuesday and I will try to tell myself something more reassuring. If you have any suggestions, let me know...
Thanks!
