Hey Andrew!
I used to live in Fairfax. I was raised in Arlington, then moved to Falls Church when I worked in McLean. I also worke in Reston when they first started building. At the time, the Executive Offices were in a mobil home, and the fields were full of cows, if you can believe it. I worked for RES (Robert E. Simon), the founder, thus the name RESton. It was a hundred years ago.
Enough of that.
Congrats on the burger! And fries TOO? I'm amazed you can tolerate all that fat! It would SOOOO trigger an attack for me! (Although I can tolerate a burger now, and in fact, I have them often. )
As for dairy, there's NO WAY I could go near the stuff! I tried the Slow-Churned Ice Cream, taking two Lactaids beforehand, and I was okay -- once. But the next time, my gut exploded.
If you can do without dairy and substitute soy instead, you're really much better off. I confess, I do use real American cheese on my burgers, but only ONE slice, and not every day. Otherwise, it's soy "ice cream" and soy "milk" for me.
Crave pizza? Buy the soy shredded mozzarella and take it to your fave pizza parlor; they'll oblige you, and in fact some even reduce the cost of your pizza accordingly. It's fabulous, and you can't really tell it's not real dairy.
Good luck!
