This is probably a common sense question, but thought I'd see what you all might have to add. I've been trying to make a concentrated effort to put a little weight back on, lost over the last year. I'm trying to keep things around the house that I LIKE to eat (for one!) and that I can eat on the fly, I'm always on the go with the kids. I've had great luck with Heather's bread recipes, smoothies, plus other staples like pretzels, etc. But I've had a bad spell of gas and colon spasms and am trying to figure out what specifically has set that off. It just occurred to me today that it's probably the granola bars? I got the chewy, low fat kind. I can tolerate oatmeal cooked but maybe the "whole grain oats" in a granola bar is too much? The spasms/gas/pain has been bad enough today for me to pull out the old prescription of librax and head to bed with a heating pad on. I drank fennel tea tonight so strong I could barely stand the taste but it helped, and went for a walk afterwards which has also helped some. Anyway, anyone care to concur that this was probably the culprit? It's a little frustrating to be trying to find things that SOUND yummy to me, will add a few pounds, and that are IBS friendly AND easy to grab on the run. I don't ask for much do I???
Thanks guys,

Michelle
