Oh, no wonder I've never gotten responses from this before. Maybe it's a Newfoundland thing ... I have one here that wouldn't be safe because of the whole egg ingredient. But I once saw another that only had egg white in it: flour, vegetable oil shortening (may contain palm oil), water, apples, sugar and/or brown sugar and/or gluclose-fructose, salt, gluclose, modified starch, frozen whole egg, cinnamon, potassium sorbate, sodium metabisulfate, malic acid, propylene glycol and/or vinegar and/or sodium propionate, sorbic acid.
This isn't really a good brand because of all the preservatives. And I definately wouldn't eat it, but since this was all that I could find at one particular store today, I just want to give you a general idea. If they are safe, they would be an awesome snack! Basically just a pastry folded and baked with apple inside. Very tastey. I crave them all the time.
