Seriously though, I really know how you feel. You get nice and stable and therefore more confident and try to push the boundaries a little. That's where I am right now too (just in time for the holidays!) and, well, yesterday, like yours, my body gave me a loud-and-clear reminder that I DO have IBS and that I can't go crazy with cheating. Day-long D attack, not even immodium would take the edge off. So for the next few days I'm back on the BTC diet and pampering myself a little. Then it's definitely time to start a new years resolution of *sticking with the diet!* Hope you're feeling a little better now. And I agree with Kate - pamper yourself like crazy, do things that make you feel good and take it easy. And certainly don't beat yourself up over it - it happens to all of us.
