IBS-C Hi Joe, Yes, unless you have some way of totally eliminating anxiety. That's why a lot of people find that hypno and or taking an SSRI help. Since I've been taking Paxil I've hardly had any IBS attacks due to anxiety.I also recall that Linz said it helped her too. Meditation is another method for addressing anxiety. An Indian friend of mine at school says that's what helped him the most.
