I finished taking my antibiotics last saturday. I had to take 4 pills a day for 10 days! At first I felt a little nauseas taking them, but I think I got use to them or something. Then I developed a yeast infection. Yuck! Anyway, I've been done w/ the antibiotics for 4 days, and last night is when I had bad D. I've read this does happen to ppl days or weeks after taking antibiotics? Anyone else had this trouble after they were done w/ the pills? I'm just so worried and paranoid about eating. I've been eating fresh french bread today, but that's about it. I just don't want to get D again! I went 6 times last night but haven't gone since like 8:30 last night...I hope it doesn't come back. I just worry that my worrying will make me worse...

This is very common because the antibiotics have killed off all the good bacteria in your intestines, and that makes yeast grow rampant, thus giving you the D and yeast infection. Probiotics is the way to go to help you out (some doctors are now actually recommending their patients take probiotics after a round or two of antibiotics). Until you're cleared up though, it would be wise to cut back on refined carbohydrates and fruits that are considered high in sugar. The sugar feeds yeast.
