It's really funny, but they actually do feel good alot of the time. You'll figure out your "list." And, that list does change. However, when you apply Heather's guidelines & eat with SF, generally they're okay.
Heather's asparagus sauce is awesome, by the way. You can adjust/modify according to personal tolerances. I LOVE THIS ONE!! It is in the newsletter archive: "1/26/05 - Lemon Asparagus Pasta & Snacks for IBS." Sometimes I give it an asian twist with soy sauce (omit faux parmesan) or adapt it into a soup with veg. stock. (It's great with potatoes, incidentally, or spaghetti squash, & even rice!)
And, for the record, Beano does work! (At least for me)
Food processors are great toys for making food safer. Not only do they puree, but they're great for funky ultra fine chopping. However, I know that certain specific foods, even food processed violently disagree with me and thus I avoid them; I run from them.
