Lost Gallbladder and Gain IBS-D...       11/26/05 07:07 PM Edit Reply Quote AshLeigh Reged: 11/26/05 Posts: 2 I recently lost my gallbladder and have gained explosive and draining IBS-D. My doc prescribed Cholestyramine Light for the diarrhea but my question is are there other alternatives to Cholestyramine Light that can help with this IBS-D? If anyone out there takes this medicine how long does it take for a sign of effectiveness, I know nothing happens overnight but anything is better than sitting on the toliet 23/7!!!!!!!!!!!!
