Dealing with IBS and pregnancy       11/24/05 09:24 PM Edit Reply Quote ash32 Reged: 11/24/05 Posts: 1 Hi, this is my first time posting a message on the board. Please Help! I'm currently 26weeks pregnant and have suffered from IBS since I was a child. Normally, I know how to deal with IBS, but since I've been pregnant my IBS attacks last for 2 to 3 days at a time. My normal IBS attacks are accompanied by diarrhea, but now my IBS attacks are accompanied with constipation. My last bowel movement was 9 days ago. I'm suffering from severe abdominal cramps (I know they're not contractions). My OBGYN is clueless on how to handle this. Any suggestions that will help me through this painful time? Thank you.
