One thing too to remember, is that the more often you have beans, the easier it will be to digest them. I'd recommend starting off with easier to digest beans like lima beans, green beans, lentils, and hummus. When I first started trying to include beans, I could only eat a little bit of hummus, any more then that and I got an attack. Now that I'm stable, I can eat whatever beans I want..but it has taken me a long time of eating small amounts to get my stomach to tolerate them this well(plus being stable helps obviously). The beans that are harder to digest are kidney beans, black beans, and other large beans. Usually the smaller the more digestable.
