Yes, I did the gallbladder scan thing about a year ago and it was OK. My pain is not typical of gallbladder anyway. I've thought about the leave of absence, too. I actually checked the company policy on FMLA and you are required to give 30 days notice! I couldn't believe that. If your medical problems are so bad you can't work, how are you going to manage 30 days' notice?
