I have a new bag that says what Melitami's can says: 1 level teaspoon is about 2.5 grams and contains 2 grams of soluble fiber. However, the sticky post at the top of this Board says there are 2.5 grams of SF per level teaspoon of acacia AND there was a long thread about this a while back where Heather said there were 2.5 grams of SF per level teaspoon AND if acacia is pure SF then 2.5 grams of acacia must be 2.5 grams of SF.

So I'm assuming that fractional grams of fiber are not shown on nutritional labels and that 1 teaspoon of acacia contains 2.5 grams of SF.

Truly, though, I don't think it makes a lot of difference. I started taking a little bit of acacia every day and increased my dosage slowly until I felt good with the amount I was taking. My package says the maximum dose is 4 level TABLEspoons, so as long as you're taking less than that, I wouldn't worry too much about that .5 gram difference.
