psyllium & gas       08/25/05 01:51 PM Edit Reply Quote jaime g Reged: 07/27/05 Posts: 961 Loc: new york city it took me much longer to get my gas under control than it took to stop attacks of d. for a while i thought the problem was the psyllium, since i was gassy for weeks after the btc diet and lots of safe eating. but i think i'm just a gassy person (isn't that fun?), because within the last couple of weeks, the gas has abated, even with increasing my dose to 5 caps in the morning and 2 later on in the day. (still planning to increase that even more, since i think 6 caps is 2g sf.) so i guess, for me, it's okay. -------------------- jaime ibs-a (mostly d) // vegetarian Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
