My doctor told me to try psyllium too, but I'm finding it too bloaty/crampy....but it could be because I was looking for it after reading the boards! So, it was probably a good thing you tried it before you knew the side effects! The "placebo effect" can be quite strong! I'm glad it doesnt cause you bloat or gas. How many grams are you taking per day...and do you take it only in the morning? I don't live by a whole foods, so I'll have to look for the fennel tea at a HFS. Thanks!
