for fiber i take generic psyllium caps - before i found this board (and all of the people saying psyllium causes gas), my gp told me to take it for the ibs. (in fact, he gave me an rx for donnatol, instructions to take psyllium, and sent me on my way.) the amt. of SF you get per dose isn't as high as i'd like, but other than that i'm happy with it. i eat breakfast at work, so a powder wouldn't work well for me.
as for fennel tea, i buy celebration herbals. it's a white box. i get my peppermint from them, too - both bought at whole foods. they're $3.11 for a box of 24 bags, which is barely more expensive than celestial seasonings. (the peppermint comes even more cheaply as loose tea, but i don't have a strainer.)
i've been really happy with the price and quality of the teas. i really love the taste of fennel tea - i brew one cup, covered, for at least ten minutes, sometimes more. it's really good and strong.
back to fiber for a second, i've heard good things around here about equalactin - i think they only come as chewables, but people say they actually don't taste bad, and you don't have to take an absurd amount to get a good deal of SF. if i were to switch, that would be my first to try.
