Just a guess but those 2 things at once sounds a lot like your hormones are out of whack. When my face starts breaking out I know it's my hormones, and I always stay real bloated adn retain a bunch of fluid. I don't have a uterus anymore so that's my only clue that I'm "hormonal" or "PMS-ing" (do have ovaries).

On another note, have you been using a lot of fennel for the bloat? I hate to say this for fear of scaring others off it if it really helps them, so I'll "whisper" it just to you ... I could be TOTALLY wrong but I am convinced in MY situation that fennel messes with my hormones and breaks out my face. I've read that fennel is used to promote lactation in breastfeeding mothers (who knows how???) so something about it must have a hormonal effect... I can't explain, there is no scientific evidence but as for me, I'm certain. I don't use fennel anymore cause it barely helped me anyway and I KNEW I'd get big under the skin painful "hormone acne" from it. I use chamomile and an antispasmodic which sometimes helps the bloat churn back down... but not always. Bloat is such a mystery.
