Although this isn't what I wanted to hear! I don't want to have to be on a stupid GF diet!
There is so much controversy over whether these positive antibody tests warrant being GF for life. I'v had three GI opinions (2 say no reason not to eat gluten, one said not to eat it) and one opinion from an Internal Med doc who also says to go ahead and eat gluten. The doctor who told me not to eat gluten is now telling me to try to eat it!
Yet, all the reading I have done, all the research, and all the opinions I get from others who also have had high antibody tests but not Celiac, tell me it is best to remain GF for life!
But this report Heather has posted is confusing to me, and I would love for her to explain it to me. I don't understand what the study is suggesting.
