UGH. If he had to live like this I bet he'd be begging someone to help him. I have the pregnant belly too! And my "gut" tells me there is more going on than just IBS. Nothing has worked as far as diet. No relief. So there must be more going on. Having all your anatomical problems, can they do anything to help your symptoms since diet won't help? I would presume that a soluble fiber supplement would probably cause you worse pain since it would just sit inside you and probably not move out. So, it would actually clog you up and make things worse. Do you take one? Also, maybe a low fiber diet would be better for you? Are you following any type of diet advice? Or do you pretty much eat anything? I know there are physical therapists who work with Pelvic Floor Dysfunction. They do exercises with biofeedback. So, do you have IBS in addition to all this? Did they tell you what caused all this? How are they going to help you now that they know what is going on? Did your eating disorder cause this? I saw in one of your previous posts that you had one.
