HI Cyndy, Thanks for your note! this is actually my third doctor, as my first doctor told me I had IBS and should accept that there are symptoms I cannot control. Meanwhile, I have pregnant stomach that doesnt go down even wtih strict dietary adherence! I knew, from other symptoms, that there was more there. I live in Massachusetts-what about you? So, anyway, I went for two other opinions and both doctors said I had atypical symptoms for an IBS diagnosis and so they vamped up teh tests. I had a defogram (not friendly at all!) and that is when, in fact, they found that I have anatomical problems with my pelvis causing this retrocele. They believe my constipation is more idiopathic (without definite source) and a result of slow transit!
