You could try it/test it--the bromelain--and see if it helps with soy digestion, or rather indigestion...and overall digestion/nutrient assimilation. Go to a natural food store and you'll find vegan/kosher digestive enzyme options.
Seriously, though...it's easy to be a soy-free vegan. Reminder: it's hard not to get enough protein! Also, let me reiterate that often those that have problems with wheat have difficulty with soy. So, listen to your body...if it says, "no soy," than no-soy-be it!
