IBS and Chinese Tongue Diagnosis       04/18/05 08:29 PM Edit Reply Quote Tinkerbelle Reged: 04/17/05 Posts: 231 Loc: Los Angeles, CA Have any of you explored this? Look at your tongues in the mirror- What do they look like? When I get diahreah my tongue gets a big red splotch on the bottom left side- very strange but my accupuncturist told me it's heat in the liver. I look at my tongue all the time to see what's going on in my body. A lot of the time it's pale pink on the inside, and the outer lining of my tongue is fairly red, and the back of my tongue towards my throat is white/yellow... it all means things, mostly I think liver/spleed stagnation, which is caused a lot by anxiety.. it's all very interesting how our body is so connected to our emotions...
