I had SO many diagnoses over the years (and an equal number of awful tests) and nothing showed up so even though I don't fit the Rome II guidelines for IBS that's the diagoses I got. BTW, with D predominace the doctors recommendations for a high fibre diet are WRONG, WRONG, WRONG! I tried a couple of times in the past and got so much sicker it was hard to have the will to continue to live.
