I was always a going back and forth from C to D before I had mine removed. I then had major D for 4 1/2 years. Sometimes I couldn't even make it through a meal. My doc said that it was called dumping syndrome and that there was nothing that they could do. Then all of a sudden I started going back and forth again. I rarely ever have a normal BM normal for me is D with no pian. If it painfull then I know it is the IBS. This was just my experince. My Grandmother, Step Mom and Step sister have all had theirs out with no problems at all!!!
