Mine was removed about 4 years ago after several gallbladder attacks, SEVERE pain, went to the ER thinking I was having a heart attack! The scan there showed the gallbladder was FULL of stones. It hasn't affected my IBS one way or the other although I did develop GERD after having it removed! They say the GERD doesn't have anything to do with the gallbladder emoval but I never, not once, even had heartburn until I had it removed! I have heard of people having chronic D after but that isn't the case with me! -------------------- Taking it one day at a time..... Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
