An IBS person can spend the rest of their life running from doctor to doctor to doctor- having test after test after test repeated. I don't want to spend the rest of my life doing that.. There has to come a point when it is accepted. I pretty much accept the diagnosis- But I have a hard time believing that this discomfort is going to be a part of the rest of my life.
